Mastitis is one of the most costly diseases affecting the dairy industry and Staphylococcus aureus is one of the most important pathogens that cause intramammary infections. This purpose to this research was to compare antibiotic susceptibilities of Staphylococcus aureus isolates from 22 certified organic and 16 conventional dairy herds in New York and Vermont.
